Balvenie Master Distiller Ian Millar wanted to experiment with adding peat to the traditional Balvenie profile. For one week a year, Balvenie distills a batch of peated malt. The result is a whisky rich in honey, vanilla, and citrus notes with a layer of delicate smokiness.
