This bourbon is sweet, with notes of citrus and oak and is best served neat or over ice. Kentucky has a rich heritage of horses that mirror that of bourbon, and Blanton’s pays homage to this with their trademark bottle stoppers with a horse and jockey atop. With eight different stoppers produced, featuring a horse and jockey in different strides and poses resembling the stages of a horse race, from beginning to end. Each stopper is marked with a single letter that spells Blanton’s when the set has been completed. The final stopper, marked by “S” always finishes the race in victory!
